Here is the instant ice cream recipe:
Procedure: Shake it {off} and serve!
And now for the fried Oreos. What I like about this fried Oreo recipe is that there are no fatty oils required! Because of that, I find it surprising how the fried Oreos are still able to maintain their funnel cake-like texture while not calling for any frying oils.
Ingredients:
-Prepare an ordinary pancake batter mixture. It can be an type of pancake batter, just as long as it's pancake batter. Think outside of the box of pancake batters, if you wish!
-Oreos. Not one Oreo, one million Oreos! I'm kidding, a pack is usually fine.
-Powdered sugar (for decoration)
Procedure:
1.) Prepare the pancake batter mixture.
2.) Bring some water in a pan to a boil.
3.) Dunk an Oreo into the batter. I broke my first Oreo while covering it up, but it still turned out fine. So don't panic if that happens to you!
4.) [Carefully] plop the battered-up Oreo into the boiling water. When the Oreo turns at least a golden brown and floats to the top, take it out and place it on a platter. Do this to a couple more Oreos because I'm sure a bunch of other folks will want some too!
5.) Furnish your fine fried Oreos with some powdered sugar. It's that easy.
This recipe truly blew me away like the Brees! I am going to try out some innovations to this recipe as soon as school's out, so stay tuned for an additional recipe to this recipe!
Bon Appétit!
